oh hi.

in case you were wondering how the hell i got into your flists, i used to be losethesmog. XD

i just wanted a shorter username, that's all. i wanted to have my full first name as a username, but someone took it and I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHY.

but a 4-letter username is fine by me.

i used my younger brother abram's (ILUSM ♥) paypal account to buy the rename token. i convinced him to apply for a paypal account for his credit card because it's safer for online purchases, and recently he's been buying more on ebay and amazon. i helped him with his paypal registration and he went directly to ebay afterwards to look at more stuff. XD

i tried to save face (BECAUSE I SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF MYSELF BEING THE OLDER SIBLING HAVING TO USE MY YOUNGER BRO'S CREDIT CARD) and did the sisterly thing: warn him from getting too tempted to buy lots of stuff online.

..a warning which i'm not really listening to myself, going and buying a rename token, of all things. =_=

addendum: abram's also buying a hardcover copy of the graveyard book for us, in time to put into a balikbayan box they're sending next week. he should be sainted, really. ♥

Dude, pareho lang tayo. Kaya lang pinapabayaan ko si Sarah bumili kasi it makes her happier. Besides, there was a time na binenta din niya ang mga nabili niya.

hehe. i believe my brother's pretty careful naman when it comes to purchases. after all, it's his hard-earned money rin naman. if he buys something, if it makes him happy then okay. wala na nga gaanong luho yung bata sa totoo lang. >.>

i just thought i should act sisterly. >.> but of course the concern is genuine, and he assures me he's just looking most of the time, haha.

ok lang naman, pero:

1.) next week pa ipapadala yung box, and balikbayan boxes usually take from 4 to 6 weeks bago dumating sa amin, lol. baka makakuha ka na ng copy by the time dumating yung amin. XD
2.) in case di mo pa rin nababasa by that time at hihiramin mo yung amin, bawal check-out. dito lang sa bahay namin pwede basahin. hahahaha joke lang. XDDDD

well it was the first time my brother and i tried paypal so we just tested the waters with a one-time transaction. besides, it's not my money so kahit papano may hiya pa rin naman ako, continuous yearly payment pa man din ang paid account. XD once i get my own credit card, yun na uunahin ko, LOL.

medyo mahal pa ang permanent account for me, as opposed to paying yearly, which i can cancel anytime, hehe. i'm not sure kasi if i'd want to keep using my livejournal forever, malay ba natin. XD

besides, they hold permanent account sales every 2 years or so, so you will still have your chance of getting one in the future. ^^

make sure lang na alam mo na gusto mo and available yung name. matagal ko rin inisip kung ano ipapalit ko and at ang tagal kong naghanap ng available. hirap nag magkamali or manghinayang, isang pizza din yung price ng name change token LOL.

Gusto ko din magpalit at kumuha ng paid account para wala nang ads, pero nabasa ko na LJ is having money problems, so I'm a bit hesitant to spend on my LJ in case it goes kaput :D

yes, that is true, which is why a permanent account hasn't really be attractive to me. perhaps a paid account on a yearly/monthly basis would be best so i can cancel it anytime. but then again, who knows when i'll be getting a credit card. XD it's not really priority at this time haha.
